The City of St. Catharines has approved a plan that will help the city adapt to the impacts of a changing climate.
On May 31st, council passed the Climate Adaptation Plan.
The plan outlines the City's response to issues such as hotter summers, wetter springs, and warmer winters.
It also sets several goals, including preparing for high water levels in Lake Ontario, the development of a flood prevention strategy and preparing for and responding to extreme weather events.
