City of St. Catharines looking to reward businesses and residents with gardens that stand out
Calling all gardeners!
St. Catharines residents can now submit nominations for this year's Trillium Awards.
The City is looking for properties that stand out with their landscaping, horticulture and more.
Both residential and commercial properties can participate.
"St. Catharines is known as ‘The Garden City’ for a reason," said Manager of Business Planning and Strategic Services, Eric Lamothe. "We are so fortunate to have residents who take pride in the beautification and environmental sustainability of their property and, by extension, their community. This is our opportunity to say thank you and offer them recognition."
Nominations can be made in any of the following categories:
- Civic Beautification
- Green Leader
- Community’s Choice
The Mayor's Award will be given to the best overall property from all submissions.
