It's time to put the "garden" in Garden City!
The City of St. Catharines is lending its support to charities and non-profits looking to establish new community gardens and improve existing ones.
Applications for Community Garden funding are now open.
Incorporated charities and non-profits can apply for matching funds from the City to cover up to half of eligible start-up costs, including lumber, soil, seeds, rain barrels and more.
Interested groups must apply online by Wednesday, March 9th, and all projects must be completed by October 31st.
