The grant program aims to benefit local non-profit organizations.
The first round of applications will be accepted until Monday, February 1st.
This year, the grant committee will distribute over $35,000 to assist local charitable organizations, service organizations and non-profits.
Port Colborne Mayor Bill Steele says that the annual grant program is a great way to the City to give back.
"It’s important that we continue to support local organizations that go above and beyond to help our residents. Council and staff are proud of this initiative and are committed to seeing it expand, as evident in the 20 per cent increase this year."
Organization are allowed to apply once per fiscal year.
