Submissions from Black artists across Canada are being accepted for a tribute to local historian Wilma Leone Morrison.
The City of Niagara Falls is inviting Black artists or Black Art Collectives across Canada to participate in a project honouring Wilma Leone Morrison.
Morrison, who died in 2020, was one of the most respected local historians in Niagara.
The City plans to install a temporary 2D artwork to be digitally re-produced and installed on the exterior of the Niagara Falls Exchance.
The winning artist will receive $5,000.
Submissions will be accepted until February 28th.
