The City of Niagara Falls is looking to honour volunteers who make their community a better place to live.
Nominations for the Volunteer Recognition Awards are open until Friday, October 7th.
Awards will be handed out in several categories, including the Environment Award, the Civic Pride Award and the Youth Volunteer of the Year Award.

Winners will be recognized at a ceremony at Firemen's Park on Monday, November 7th.
The event is by invitation only, and will take place inside the SCVFA Building.
