Parking tickets issued in Niagara Falls this month can be paid with a new unwrapped toy or gift card.
The City of Niagara Falls is looking to brighten a child's Christmas.
Anyone who receives a parking ticket issued between November 1st and December 1st can pay it off with a new, unwrapped gift or gift card.
Charities that will benefit include the Salvation Army.
Payments and donations can be made December 1st - 3rd or December 6th - 8th at the finance offices located at City Hall or the MacBain Community Centre.
The offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You'll need to bring a receipt indicating the value of your donation is equal to or greater than your ticket.
Donations can also be made without a ticket.
The City says the greatest need for gifts is for kids between the ages of 12 and 15.
Gift suggestions include movies, music, clothing or gift certificates for these items.
