It's Camillo Cipriano's first day on the job as Niagara Catholic's new Director of Education.
He has taken over for John Crocco who officially retired yesterday.
Cipriano used to be a Superintendent of Education for the Halton Catholic District School Board and he's bringing 23 years of experience to the table.
In a post on Twitter, Cipriano thanked Crocco for his 35 years in Catholic Education and the 12 years he spent at Niagara Catholic.
Kim Kinney, Gino Pizzoferrato and Clark Euale will also start their new positions at the NCDSB today.
Kinney will be taking over the Program and Innovation Portfolio as a Family of Schools Superintendent.
She used to be a principal with Halton Catholic and she spent the last three years at the Ministry of Education’s Student Achievement Office.
Pizzoferrato will be in charge of the Special Education portfolio as a Family of Schools Superintendent.
He used to be a principal with Hamilton Catholic.
Clark is a Civil Engineer and he is now Niagara Catholic's new Controller of Facilities Services.
