Christopher Coady is stepping down as the Ward 2 councillor for West Lincoln.
His fellow councillor William Reilly confirmed the news on social media yesterday.
He says the Administration, Finance and Fire Committee will officially accept Coady's resignation from the Ward 2 position on Monday.
Coady was first elected to the position two years ago.
Reilly is wishing Coady all of the best in his future endeavours.
