Three people have been charged following an anti-lockdown rally in St. Catharines.
On May 1st, officers attended the protest to ensure public safety and keep the peace.
Thirty year old Cullen McDonald of Lincoln and 37 year old Sandor Ligetfalvy of Niagara Falls have been charged with common nuisance/endangering lives or safety of the public.
Meanwhile, a thirty year old woman from Aylmer was charged under the Re-opening Ontario Act for hosting or organizing an event where the number of attendees exceeds the number permitted.
The NRP is not releasing her name, as she was charged under the ROA, which is provincial legislation and not the Criminal Code of Canada.
