Police say the 52-year old man was found without vital signs at Niagara Detention Centre last June
Two men have each been charged with 2nd degree murder after the death of another man at the Niagara Detention Centre.
Police say last June they were called at around 6:30 in the morning, to find a 52-year old inmate without vital signs.
Attempts were made to revive him, but he was soon pronounced dead.
Police have charged 19-year old Jeremy Lowes-Kennedy of Welland and 39-year old Kelvin Justin Bascus of St. Catharines.
They both remain in custody with a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
