Police lay weapon charges after suspect tries to sell drugs
A 30-year old man is facing weapon charges after allegedly attempting to sell drugs in a St. Catharines parking lot.
Police say they were called to the Welland Avenue and Geneva Street area late Wednesday afternoon concerning an armed man.
They say someone was in a business parking lot when they were approached by the man, who tried to sell some drugs. The complainant turned him down.
Police were called, and found the suspect, and subsequently noticed a shotgun sticking out of his backpack.
Zach Charles LeBlanc is charged after police found the gun and rounds of ammunition.
