A 41 year old Welland man is facing a number of weapons related charges after a shot was fired inside a residence.
Officers were called a multi-unit residence in the area of Plymouth Road and Third Street on February 21st after a woman complained a shot had been fired through the ceiling of her unit.
Officers then made an arrest after determining where the shot came from.
Police also executed three search warrants this week and seized brass knuckles equipped with a switch blade knife, a black Smith and Wesson 9mm Luger handgun and a magazine clip containing seven 9mm rounds of ammunition.
Jason Leblanc is facing five charges including careless use of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon and careless storage of a firearm.
