It's a day off of school for some students in Niagara.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association is holding a province-wide strike.
All elementary and secondary schools in the Niagara Catholic District School Board are closed to students today.
This is the second one-day, full withdrawal of services for the union.
It comes after contract talks were held with the province yesterday, but no deal was reached.
No further talks between the union and the government are scheduled.
