Two key events will take place this morning in Tokyo including the Canadian Women's Gold Medal Game against Sweden.
Niagara residents will be glued to the TV this morning as two Olympic events will take place at the same time in Tokyo.
Mohammed Ahmed from St. Catharines will run the 5,000m while the Canadian women's soccer team will start their gold medal match against Sweden, both at 8am our time.
The match was moved over high heat concerns, so the game was changed to a night match in Japan.
Both countries are looking for their first-ever Olympic gold.
Sweden took silver in the 2016 Rio Games, while the Canadians finished with bronze.
