Second silver medal so far as Canadian women dominate in the pool
In their first Olympics together, Canadian divers Jennifer Abel and Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu landed on the podium after capturing silver in the women's synchronized three metre springboard competition,
The first medal of the games, came after swimmer Penny Oleksiak put in a clutch performance to lead the women's 4x100 metre freestyle swim team to a sliver medal.
The team of Oleksiak, Kayla Sanchez, Rebecca Smith and Margaret MacNeil, finished just behind a world record performance from Australia.
