Police say he's wanted after stabbing in Niagara Falls
An appeal from Niagara Regional police for help to find a wanted man.
They say last Saturday, April 8th, at around 5pm, they were called to a house on Buchanan Avenue, between North and Kitchener Streets in Niagara Falls over reports of a stabbing.
Police found a 42-year old Niagara Falls man suffering from what they say was a minor, non-life threatening stab wound.
He was treated at hospital and released.
Police found the suspect and victim know each other.
They believe the suspect, 32-year old Zachary James Hill, of Niagara Falls, who faces a charge of assault with a weapon, knows police are looking for him and is trying to evade arrest.
Police add if you see him, don't approach him, as the knife involved has not been recovered.
