2020 was a record breaking year for building permits in Fort Erie.
Town staff say after a drop in permits in 2019, last year saw total permit values equaling nearly $129 million.
The town says 65 permits were issued for new residential housing valuing about $27 million, and the majority of those were issued in the Ridgeway-Thunder Bay area.
