Two siblings from Niagara will split a $500,000 cheque after winning the lottery.
Peter Galauner of Welland and Irene Barras of Thorold won half-a-million dollars in the October 1st, 2019 Lotto Max draw.
Galauner is 62-years-old Barras is 56-years-old and they promised to take care of each other after their father passed away.
They bought their golden ticket at Kay's Korner Variety on Thorold Road in Welland.
Barras is planning some home renovations and Galauner is going to wait until the pandemic is over before he decides how to spend his share.
