Grand opening set to take place in August.
Battle of Beaverdams Park in Thorold has re-opened to the public.
The park, which includes a large gazebo, a band shell, a playground and more, will have a grand opening in August.
While supply chain issues and other delays occurred due to the pandemic, construction of the park is now complete, with small enhnacements to take place over the coming weeks.
Residents who are interested in buying a memorial or commemorative bench can call Thorold City Hall at 905-227-6613.
Tomorrow and Friday, the park will host Canada Day festivities and Rock 'N Blues on the Battlefield.
