Tomorrow marks one month since autoworkers walked off the job in the States. Negotiations continue between General Motors and the United Auto Workers.
The union has summoned leaders to Detroit on Thursday for an update.
In the past, this has been done when a tentative deal is reached, or to discuss and vote on a plan of action.
About 800 workers are still off the job in St. Catharines.
The remaining third of the plant is back to work, now that the planned shutdown at the CAMI Plant is over.
As long as the Ingersoll plant continues to run, there will be work for the transmission line in St. Catharines.
