Police and K-9 units were searching for an armed suspect in Lincoln this morning following the attempted abduction of a 16 year old boy.
Niagara Regional Police continue to investigate an attempted abduction this morning in Lincoln.
Police are searching for an armed suspect who tried to abduct a 16 year old boy just after 10:30. The teenager was not injured in the attempted abduction. The suspect was last spotted in a stolen car heading west of 19th Street on King St.
Safety protocols at the schools in the area and for the public were lifted just before 1:00 pm today. We have not heard any reports of an arrest at this time. You could notice a large police presence in the town today as police tried to track down the suspect.
