Argument results in firearm being pointed at victim.
Two people have been arrested in connection to a firearm-related incident in Welland.
Just after 9:00 p.m. Monday night, police were called to the area of Wallace Avenue and Paul Street in response to an assault in progress.
Officers say a weapon was drawn and pointed at the victim during an argument.
The gun didn't fire, and the accused drove away before police got there.
The car was spotted yesterday around 5:45 a.m. at an address in St. Catharines.
Police searched the home and discovered 32.4 grams of cocaine, and $34,396.00 believed to be proceeds from the sale of drugs.
Twenty-six year old Javante Weston of Niagara Falls and 23 year old Madison Delaney were arrested and charged.
Both face several drug related charges.
Weston is also facing assault and firearm charges.
