Niagara Health has declared another COVID-19 outbreak at Greater Niagara General Hospital, on inpatient Unit D.
An outbreak was declared on the Trillium Unit on Friday.
Niagara Health says a total of 13 patients and four staff members between the two units have tested positive for the virus.
The Infection Prevention and Control Team is monitoring the situation and enhanced precautions are now in place to prevent further spread.
All of the affected patients are being cared for in one area.
Executive Vice President Derek McNally says this is a very unfortunate situation and Niagara Health is working at its fullest capacity to prevent further spread of the virus.
