Niagara Regional Police were called to the Outlet Collection at Niagara late Saturday afternoon following an animal complaint.
A 39 year old man from Whitby is in trouble following an animal complaint in the parking lot of Outlet Collection at Niagara.
Police were called late Saturday afternoon after a small dog was left inside a vehicle in extreme high temperatures.
According to witnesses, the dog appeared to be in extreme distress and was trying to find a way out of the car through different windows.
Cops broke the driver's side window after not being able to find the owner who arrived a short time later.
The man is facing an unnecessary suffering offence and will appear in court at a future date.
