Media conference set for this afternoon on U.S. side
The Mayor of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and a Western New York Congressman want a chunk of President Joe Biden's $80 billion dollar infrastructure money.
Mayor Robert Restaino and Congressman Brian Higgins have a media conference set for today, where they will discuss a plan to improve Amtrak service in the region
They want to expand the route between Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Toronto .
The announcement is scheduled for 12:45 at the Amtrak station near the Whirlpool Bridge on the U.S. side of the falls.
