Event rescheduled due to pandemic
A local tribute event celebrating the life of Rush drummer Neil Peart has been rescheduled due to the pandemic.
Overtime Angels, a charitable organization inspired by the band, says their "A Night for Neil" event has been rescheduled for April 23, 2022 at the Meridian Centre.
In a post on their website, the Overtime Angels notes tickets have exceeded Ontario's pandemic seating restrictions.
The night will include performances by artists such as David Barrett and Brandon Dyke, as well as Rush tribute bands Permanent Waves and Solar Federation.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Catharines Hospital and Walker Cancer Centre, the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and the Juravinski Hospital & Cancer Centre.
Tickets can be bought here.
The event was supposed to take place November 5th and 6th, and refunds can be requested at the point of purchase.
