Eighteen patients fighting virus within Niagara Health.
Niagara Public Health is reporting 64 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The area's death toll remains at 444, and 18 people are battling the virus in hospital.
Niagara Health says six of the patients are in ICUs, and 14 are unvaccinated.
There are 597 active cases, including 136 in St. Catharines and 124 in Niagara Falls.
The region also has 13 active outbreaks.
Over 791,000 vaccinations have been administered in Niagara.
About 83.7 percent of eligible residents have one shot and 79.6 percent are fully immunized.
