The area's death toll is now at 375.
Six people are battling the virus in local hospitals.
Niagara has 7 confirmed cases of the variant first discovered in the U.K.
An additional 237 cases are under investigation after variants were detected.
Throughout the region, there are 380 active cases and 18 active outbreaks.
There are 82 active cases in St. Catharines, 78 in the Falls and 61 in Welland.
Ontario has announced 1571 new cases and ten more deaths today.
Toronto has 459 new cases, Peel has 309 and York Region has 143.
