For the second day in a row, Niagara Region Public Health is reporting a COVID-19 death.
Public health officials in Niagara are reporting 45 new COVID-19 infections and one more death today.
It's the second death reported this week, bringing the region's toll to 431.
Niagara Health says there are 14 patients with the virus, and two are in the ICU.
Twelve of the patients are unvaccinated.
There are 11 active outbreaks and 241 active cases.
Just over 703,000 vaccinations have been administered, and 75.5 percent of Niagara residents have at least one shot.
Meanwhile, 70.5 percent are fully immunized.
