There are 1,829 people battling the virus in hospital, 54 percent of which were admitted due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, there are 435 ICU patients with COVID-19, 20 percent of which have the virus but were admitted for other reasons.
More than 31.1 million vaccinations have been administered in Ontario to date.
About 92.2 percent of Ontarians 12 and older have one dose, and 89.6 percent have two.
