2,907 New COVID-19 Cases in Ontario

Officials reporting 1,829 hospital patients with COVID-19, including 435 in ICUs.

Over 2900 new COVID-19 cases in Ontario today.

The province is reporting 2,907 new infections and 52 more deaths today, two of which occurred over a month ago.

There were 20,936 tests conducted yesterday.

There are 1,829 people battling the virus in hospital, 54 percent of which were admitted due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, there are 435 ICU patients with COVID-19, 20 percent of which have the virus but were admitted for other reasons.

More than 31.1 million vaccinations have been administered in Ontario to date.

About 92.2 percent of Ontarians 12 and older have one dose, and 89.6 percent have two.
