A jump in new COVID-19 cases in Ontario today.
The province is reporting 2,404 new cases of COVID-19, and 41 new deaths.
There were 21,449 tests completed yesterday.
There are 1,066 people hospitalized with the virus, 51 percent having COVID-19 but being admitted for other reasons.
As well, 302 people are battling COVID-19 in ICUs, 74 percent being admitted due to the virus.
More than 31.5 million vaccinations have been administered so far.
About 92.5 percent of Ontarians 12 and older have one dose and 90.4 percent are fully vaccinated.
