A decline in new COVID-19 cases in Niagara.
Niagara Region Public Health has confirmed 24 new COVID-19 infections today, which is down from 44 yesterday.
The area's death toll remains at 422, and Niagara Health is reporting 14 patients with the virus, with five in the ICU.
There are six active outbreaks and 256 active cases throughout Niagara.
To date, more than 673,000 vaccine doses have been administered, with 73.3 percent of local residents having their first shot and 67.1 percent with both.
