Niagara's daily COVID-19 case count continues to rise.
Public health officials are confirming 21 new infections today.
The death toll remains at 420, and Niagara Health is reporting 5 patients with the virus.
One of the patients is in the ICU.
The region has 156 active cases and four active outbreaks.
About 71.3 percent of Niagara residents have their first shot, and 64.3 percent have both.
To date, over 649,000 vaccine doses have been administered in the region.
