A woman from Welland won $1-million in the Lotto Max draw
More lottery winners in the Niagara region.
Laurie Dale of Welland picked up the $1-million prize in the June 6th Lotto Max draw.
The 63-year old delivery driver says she's been playing the lottery ever since she can remember, and plans to retire and maybe buy a new car.
The winning ticket was bought at the Esso on Ontario Road in Welland.
Also, Tanya Birrell of Port Colborne has another $250,000 to add to her bank account after winning in the Instant Bonus money draw.
The 47-year old mother of two also has been playing the lottery for years, and plans to manage her finances and share with her kids. The ticket was bought Sobey's on West Side Road in Port Colborne.
