Niagara Police say they uncovered 7 guns headed to Region to be sold on streets.
Police arrested and charged two men in Toronto who are suspected of being involved in drug trafficking throughout the Niagara region.
Officers seized a loaded handgun, as well as five other handguns, one fully automatic AK-style pistol and several high-capacity magazines.
The two men were near the Manitoba-North Dakota border and were on their way back to the Niagara region.
44-year-old Marlon Roberts from Niagara Falls, U.S.A, and 32-year-old Ahmed A. Saad of Niagara Falls, ON are facing a number of firearm charges.
