A slight increase in new COVID-19 cases in Niagara.
Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 18 new cases of the virus today.
As well, five COVID-19 patients remain within Niagara Health, and three of them are in the ICU.
There are 147 active cases in the region, along with four active outbreaks.
Just over 656,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
About 71.8 percent of Niagara residents have their first shot, and 65.1 percent have both.
