Niagara Region Public Health is reporting a decrease in the number of new COVID-19 cases today.
Fifteen new infections are being confirmed.
The area's death toll remains at 434, and there are 188 active cases and eight active outbreaks.
Niagara Health is reporting 11 patients with the virus, and four are in the ICU.
One of the patients is a child, and ten are unvaccinated.
Over 715,000 vaccinations have been administered.
About 76.3 percent of Niagara residents have their first dose, and 72 percent have a complete series.
