Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Niagara Public Health confirms the death toll is now at 391.
This comes as 146 new cases were announced today.
Currently, there are 85 people in local hospitals with COVID-19, with 19 in ICUs.
Variants have been detected in over 2,500 cases, and the region has over 2,800 active cases.
St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland have the highest active case counts in Niagara.
To date, over 171,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
