Niagara Public Health is reporting 112 new COVID-19 cases in the region.
Ten more local people have died of the virus, bringing our death toll to 299.
There are 44 people with the virus in area hospitals.
Currently, there are 1360 active cases and 43 active outbreaks in the region.
There are 496 active cases in St. Catharines, 254 in Niagara Falls and 145 in Welland.
To date, 3883 vaccines have been administered in the region.
Today the province reported 2,093 new cases.
There were 700 in Toronto, 331 in Peel and 228 in York Region.
