Public Health confirming 100 new cases, as well as the death of a person in the 60-79 age group.
The region's COVID-19 death toll is now at 481.
Meanwhile, Niagara Health reporting 113 patients with the virus, 84 of which are being treated primarily for COVID-19.
There are 26 ICU patients with the virus, 11 of which are unvaccinated.
At the moment, there are 2,995 active cases, including 925 in St. Catharines, 604 in Niagara Falls and 344 in Welland.
There are also 35 active outbreaks.
More than 982,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
About 86.4 percent of eligible Niagara residents have one dose and 81.3 percent have two.
