On Saturday, November 1st Welland residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food by placing it in a bag or box by their front door by 10 am for pickup.

On the first Saturday of November, the city of Welland once again comes alive with the spirit of generosity as the annual Welland Food Drive takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
For more than three decades, this cherished community tradition has brought neighbours together to collect, sort, and share food donations that support families and individuals facing difficult times.
The Welland Food Drive is a powerful example of community spirit and collective action to ensure no one goes hungry in our city. Please help support your local food drive by leaving a bag or box of non-perishable food at your front door before 10 am on November 1. Or you can donate online and receive a tax receipt.
