AS PART OF ART IN ACTION: CLIMATE WITH THE FIRST ONTARIO PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE
January 20 2026 - Earthly Cabaret – where fire, water, air, and earth take center stage.
Fire dancers! Water inspired artists! Air-borne aerialists! Earth loving clowns! All coming
together in a spectacle that celebrates our love for Mother Nature. Set within the intimate walls
of The Bank Art House, The Earthly Cabaret invites audiences to be part of the power of
performance as a form of environmental reflection. Join us for a night where art becomes action,
and the circus becomes a mirror of the planet we share.
Featuring performances from professional circus artists from Welland, Niagara and across
Ontario: Hosted by Ryan Stephenson with many surprise performances, Nomuun Ankhbayar
(hula hoop and contortion), Nailah Renuka (aerial hoop), Elspeth Cudmore (aerial pole), Erica
Liu (aerial silks), Holly Benedetti (fire manipulation), Angola Murdoch (clown), Hamilton Aerial
Group (stilt choreography), Sarah Hula Hoop (acro dance), and ambient circus (students and
emerging professionals from FdFC’s program).
Live music by Toronto band Dr. Draw And The Strange Parade. Electronic violin, drums, guitar
and bass. So much energy and class you won’t be able to stop dancing!
This event is presented by Femme du Feu Creations in partnership with Art In Action: Climate
and the FirstOntario Performing Arts Center. Art In Action: Climate is a 10-day event in
celebration of the FirstOntario Performing Arts Center’s 10 year anniversary.
