Warming Centres Open in Niagara as Frigid Temperatures Continue

Environment Canada calling for a low of minus 18 tonight.

Several warming centres have opened up in Niagara as the region experiences frigid temperatures. 

According to Environment Canada, the overnight low in the area will hit minus 18 tonight, with a windchill around minus 22. 

Residents can head to the following locations to warm up:

Welland


Welland Tennis Club

Open Thursday - Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

 

Lincoln
