Vaccine Passport Requirement Ends in Ontario

Remaining capacity limits are lifted

Today  is the day vaccine passports will no longer be required in restaurants, arenas, and other non essential public spaces 

Capacity limits will also be lifted at all indoor establishments. 

Yesterday the Premier was asked when he plans to lift mask mandates.

Ford says they aren’t far away and are possibly looking to end mandatory masks in most settings sometime after March Break. 

The Premier adding he is waiting for the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health to determine when it is safe. 

While speaking to CP24 yesterday, Niagara’s top doctor Mustafa Hirji says he is nervous about ending mask mandates adding  "I think taking away masks, which really don't impede economic activity, is a very bad decision at this point."
