Update: Fort Erie Senior Found Safe

Fort Erie senior reported missing found safe

UPDATE:

Police say 81 year old Robert Glen was found safe outside of the Niagara region. 

The NRPS is thanking the public and the media for their assistance in the matter. 

 

ORIGINAL STORY

 

Officers in Fort Erie and St. Catharines are searching for an 81-year-old Fort Erie man.

After meeting with the family of Robert Glen, police determined he left his home yesterday around 3 pm in the area of Netherby Road and the QEw.

The missing senior was driving his 2010 Hyundai Elantra, grey in colour with the licence plate number BJMZ968. 

He did not return home.

Further investigation by officers determined that Glen had attended the Emergency Department at the St. Catharines General Hospital when he  checked in 5:20PM and then walked out at 5:43PM. 

Glen left in his Hyundai and has not been seen since.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black bomber coat, white running shoes and a sun visor.

His family and police are concerned for his safety and welfare.  Anyone who may have seen or know the whereabouts of Glen is asked to call the police.  5 District detectives investigating this incident can be reached by calling 905-688-4111, extension 1009369.

Police say the missing man  formerly lived in the Clarke Street and Chestnut Street area of Port Colborne.
