Two Arrested in Niagara Falls Drug Bust

Police seize about $12,880 worth of fentanyl, crystal meth and marijuana.

Two people are facing charges in connection to a Niagara Falls drug investigation. 

Police say the investigation started earlier this month, and a search warrant was conducted yesterday evening near Culp Street and Franklin Avenue. 

One suspect was arrested inside the home, and the other was arrested at the intersection of Main Street and Ferry Street. 

Detectives seized 10.3 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 grams of crystal meth and 1,660 grams of weed. 

The combined estimated street value of the drugs of $12,880. 

Officers also found about $6,000 worth of power tools believed to have been stolen and more than $15,000 believed to be the proceeds of crime. 

Facing charges are 47 year old John Hicks and 36 year old Na'El Almahshi, both of Niagara Falls. 

The pair were released on an undertaking and will appear in court on June 16th.
