Travellers Will Be Split in Two Queues at Pearson Airport Based on Vaccine Status

Pearson International Airport/Facebook

Fully vaccinated travellers will be in one queue, non or partially vaxed in the other

Airport officials say the measure will help streamline the border clearance process.

Spokesperson Beverly MacDonald tells the CBC, "There are different entry requirements for vaccinated and non or partially vaccinated travellers which have been broadly communicated by the Government of Canada."

Starting Aug. 9th, fully vaccinated U.S. citizens will be exempt from quarantine and testing requirements.

The Toronto airport isn't the first to start streaming passengers based on their vaccine status, Vancouver International Airport has already posted signs directing vaccinated and non vaccinated passengers to separate lines.
