Toronto police are asking for the public's help in the murders of two billionaire philanthropists.

Earlier today, police released security video taken at the North York home of Barry and Honey Sherman.

The video was taken around the time of the murders, which occurred the evening of December 13th, 2017, and shows an unknown man walking on a sidewalk near the property.

The founder of pharmaceutical company Apotex and his wife were killed inside their home.

Police say the couple were strangled to death, and there were no signs of a break in.

Detective Sgt. Brandon Price says of all the people seen on nearby security cameras that night, this is the only person police haven't identified and excluded from the investigation.

Price also notes this person is suspicious, because they walk into an area not captured by video footage, and stay awhile before leaving.

The video can be viewed below.
