A Month of Festivals and Events in Niagara

Plenty of family fun ahead

The "In the Soil Arts Festival" kicks off today in downtown St. Catharines.

It's a celebration of art featuring new music, digital art, theatre, interactive family-fun activities and more.

Tomorrow is the first ever Mother Earth Day Festival at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls.

The totally free event celebrating the environment features fun activities for the entire family along with 67 vendors.

The Women's Place of South Niagara Book Riot continues through the weekend at the Gales Centre in Niagara Falls with thousands of used books. puzzles, games and music for sale at bargain prices.

Rotary Ribfest in Niagara Falls runs June 17th to the 19th in Rapidsview Park.

The Welland Rose Festival Parade, The Garage Sale at the Gale in Niagara Falls, Family Fun Fest at Bissell's Hideaway in Fonthill and Strawberry Fest at the Beaverdams Church in Thorold are all set to go on June 18th.

On Father's Day June19th, Safari Niagara hosts its annual Car Show Celebration with dad's getting free admission to the park and the Fort Erie Race Track also inviting families to the races to celebrate the day with Dad.

Head to Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls, June 23rd to the 26th, for the annual Stamford Centre Volunteer Fireman's Association Carnival.
